The Peshawar Museum holds the largest collection of Greek Buddhist art (Gandhara) in Pakistan. Displayed in a massive building dating back to the British colonial empire, the collection is divided into four main sections: Gandhara, coins, Islam and ethnological collection. The latter highlights the culture and way of life of the main tribes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, including that of the Kalash people.
