Good regional specialities to taste in a restaurant in Colmar.

Le Fer Rouge's neo-rustic decor combines wrought iron, rough wood and nods to Colmarian artists (Hansi, Bartholdi, Schongauer and Grünewald). In the kitchen, the chef cooks up some fine regional specialties: fondant de jambonneau au miel, caquelon de spaetzle au munster, baeckeofe au pinot noir. In December, foie gras is deliciously marinated in lemon and Gewurztraminer. A small brasserie menu is available in the afternoon (tartes flambées, Alsatian planchettes...). An elevator provides comfortable access to the upper floor.

Le jarret de porc au miel et au tym, avec des pommes de terre sautées, était méga bon. Le service est excellent. Le serveur est gentil, courtois et rapide. Je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui viennent à Colmar.

UN TRÈS BON MOMENT
Excellent accueil ce vendredi midi 9 août ; tout le personnel est sympathique, dynamique et aux petits soins.
Les plats sont parfaits du jambonneau braisé au miel aux spatzles fondantes au Munster.

Spéciale "bouchée à la Reine"
Spécialité de l'Alsace, je me suis laissée tenter par une bouchée à la reine ..... des plus succulentes. Le cadre et le service sont les bases d'un bon moment de plaisir entre amis.

Déçus, tarte flambée qui n’a de gratiné que le nom et plats froids que nous avons renvoyés en cuisine...dommage le cadre est joli et le service relativement sympathique
