Meistermann is a Colmar institution, although the cuisine is simple. While there are a few nice surprises, such as the beef tartare cut with a knife and prepared in front of you at the table, or some surprising daily specials at low prices, the menu also offers a few dishes that fall a little short. So choose wisely. It's often very busy, especially at lunchtime, so it's best to make a reservation. Tables are close together, and if you're having lunch on your own, we won't hesitate to suggest that you take someone else to your table: it's not for the faint-hearted!
