JADIS ET GOURMANDE
Restaurant-tea room in Colmar, between a 16th century Alsatian farmhouse and a mountain chalet.
Sophie Stempfel warmly welcomes you to her restaurant-tea room, halfway between a 16th century Alsatian farmhouse and a mountain chalet. Here, everything invites you to relax, from rustic decoration (without falling into outrageous folklore) to the incredible collection of vintage teddy bears. Looking for a homemade hot chocolate and a gourmet pie? You couldn't have come at a better time: Gerard's pies (his baker-pastry daddy) are divine and generously served. Between rhubarb or lemon meringue, apple-pear cottage cheese, crumbled parchment, our taste buds are titillated and do not remain hungry: the portions are pantagruelic! On the salty side, the "Mamama" meat cakes (meat from Jauss), Munster röstis, flambéed pies, fleischnackas in their broth, meat pies, grilled lawerknepfla, not to mention the famous bibelakas (farmhouse cottage cheese provided by the Colmarian cheesemaker Jacky Quesnot) with fried potatoes and green salad are essential. For their part, children will enjoy homemade minced meat cakes and French fries.
