Bordered by a large terrace, this Alsatian brasserie combines unusual decor (with light fixtures in the shape of melon hats) with delicious local recipes. Papi Lucien's onion tart is a must, as are duck foie gras with Gewurztraminer, cocotte of veal tripe simmered in Riesling and Daniel's famous sauerkraut. If you're feeling peckish between 2 and 3:45 pm, Wistub Brenner offers a small à la carte menu featuring a winegrower's salad (thinly sliced cervelat and Comté cheese), presskopf with vinaigrette or a tourte de la Vallée.
