Homemade dishes that change with the seasons in an Italian restaurant just a stone's throw from Colmar's cathedral.
Located within a walking distance from the cathedral, Mamma Giovanna invites you to taste the Italian way of life, the famous "dolce vita"! The menu includes homemade dishes prepared with mastery by the minute. As a starter, indulge in a mille-feuille of Bufala mozzarella with candied tomatoes or a beef carpaccio served with arugula and parmesan shavings, all topped with balsamic vinegar. Afterwards, enjoy a dish of large ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese, spinach and basil cream sauce, or a veal osso bucco à la romaine. You can also opt for the chef's suggestions, which change with the seasons: a skewer of gambas flambéed with cognac accompanied by caponata, fagottinis with cream sauce and black truffle, there is something for everyone's appetite! Check out the week's suggestions and daily specials on Mamma Giovanna's Facebook page. As for the pizzas, which are as generous as they are tasty, they are made according to the rules of the art with fresh, high-quality products. Good point: Mamma Giovanna offers all her pizzas to take away. Order by phone or directly from the restaurant and loyalty card that offers an eleventh pizza for every 10 purchased!

Although the service is fast, but the food is almost " pire" how what motorcylcists deliver to the price sold off on Colmar!
! you have a super location, you do not satisfy tourists and try to satisfy the colmariens too!
Du jambon de parme sous vide sur la pizza, une sauce tomate qui a gout de conserve.
Le plateau apéritif est vraiment très cher (15€) et est vraiment mauvais (de la charcuterie de supermarché, des olives sans gout).
Je déconseille.
