The Anadolu is undoubtedly the best address in the Colmar region for Ottoman gastronomy. Its decoration reflects the atmosphere of a traditional Anatolian interior. The dishes served in colorful dishes are in tune with the welcome and the service: warm and generous. You can whet your appetite with an assortment of mezze after which you can be tempted by the Güvec, lamb and vegetable stew in a crust. The desserts are all delicious: so, we offer ourselves the total with the Assiette de la Favorite or the honey and orange ice cream!

ANADOLU, an eternal ANATOLIA heritage!
Here, in the heart of Colmar, is the best Ottoman restaurant in Alsace. Madeleine Desmoulis, a true Alsatian who fell in love with Turkey, fulfilled her dream by creating this restaurant in 1978. In 2003, she retired, handing over the keys to ANADOLU to Talat Gurbuz, who was her waiter for seven years, and has continued in the same vein ever since!
A native of Turkey, Chef Talat Gurbuz knows recipes from Anatolian traditions like the back of his hand, and knows better than anyone how to interpret them brilliantly to delight his guests.
you are invited to dine in a dreamy, dreamily Anatolian setting, with its carpets and all its magnificent decorative elements, carefully collected over the years, as well as its counter and terrace overlooking the pedestrian street. Like an invitation to a still journey.
The cuisine is just right in tone, precise in taste, fine, fresh, with all the flavors of ineffable Turkey expressed with humility and a lot of love.
The grand mezzé, featuring a succession of authentic hors d'oeuvres, takes you on a whirlwind tour. You'll taste everything, without depriving yourself: hummus, oriental sausages, spicy kebabs, delicately stuffed grape leaves, feta galettes, boreks, among many other delicate and delicious things!
But the secret of ANADOLU's excellence is the meats, mainly lamb, on the grill. The choice is vast, the quality uniform, the cooking tender and the quality of the meats offered perfectly tender: impeccable doner kebab, tasty and juicy shish kebab, stunning "bag" containing exquisite spicy meats and soft spicy köfte, all very well done.
We're happy to round off our meal with irresistible desserts, such as exquisite honey baklava and fresh yoghurt ice cream with raspberry coulis.
In the glasses: excellent Turkish wines, lively and fresh, including the famous fruity Kavaklidère rosé.
