Practiced at Colmar rink, the Eisstock comes from Germany and has similarities with curling. Original activity and practice in small group, do not hesitate to test it! Every first Friday of the month, the rink reserves a part of its track to ice cream enthusiasts like those curious to discover this fun, convivial and intergenerational sport. The traditional balls of petank are replaced by disks with a handle that should be launched to get closer to a rubber palet that acts as a pig. The teams consist of 4 players, each equipped with an Eisstock weighing 3 to 4 kg. Smaller models are offered to women and adolescents. The rules are very simple to assimilate and, above all, no need to be a skating as since ice cream is practiced in sneakers!
