BIBLIOTHEQUE SONORE "PFEFFEL" DE COLMAR - ASSOCIATION DES DONNEURS DE VOIX
Created in 1983, the Colmar sound library offers a free service of book loans recorded by volunteer Voice Givers. A little escape through listening to audio books is appreciated by visually impaired or blind people. More than 5,600 titles are available, including classic and contemporary novels. Readers who are not equipped can have access to a CD player called VICTOR Reader, specially adapted for people with visual disabilities. At the Colmar sound library, you can borrow these recorded works in French as well as in German and Alsatian. If you like reading and literature and would like to use your voice, please contact this association by phone or visit one of its offices. For those who wish to take advantage of the services of the Association des Donneurs de Voix's Sound Libraries, all you need is a medical certificate or a certificate from a health professional justifying your inability to read and to contact the library closest to your home (112 in France).
