This gothic style church is one of the most beautiful achievements of the mendicant order

This Gothic style church was built between 1283 and 1346. Initially associated with the Dominican monastery, it housed for a long time the Colmar municipal library. This building was intended to give a sense of grandeur. The church of the Dominicans is a sort of large vessel with a wooden ceiling illuminated by 14th century stained glass windows. It is one of the most beautiful achievements of the mendicant order. The centrepiece of the visit is, without a doubt, the famous painting by Martin Schongauer : The Virgin with the Rose Bush (1473).

C'est honteux de faire payé l'entrée d'un lieu de prière de + dès que nous rentrons des babioles à acheté , bande de marchands du temple , honte à vous

Entrée payante. Pendant le marché de Noël on peut visiter une exposition d'artisans d'art mais c'est quand même dommage car celle des artisans d'art de l'ancienne douane est gratuite. Alors admirez l'extérieur. .....
