This 12-meter-high Statue of Liberty is an exact copy of the original, created by Auguste Bartholdi.

It is an exact copy of the original statue, created by Auguste Bartholdi in 1886, which stands guard over the entrance to New York harbor. Reaching a height of 12 meters, it was inaugurated on July 4, 2004, to mark the ^100th anniversary of the sculptor's birth. The Alsatian version of "Miss Liberty" weighs 8 tonnes of resin and modelling clay, tinted in the same patina verdigris as the original version, on an Eiffel-style metal structure. His majestic toga has exactly a thousand folds. The highlight of the show is the night lighting.

C'est toujours très agréable de passer sur ce rond point, je ne m'en lasse pas. Je me suis jamais arrêté sur l'air à côté, faudrait un jour. Quelques fois je vois des touristes sur le rond point pour la voir de plus près (c'est pas un peu dangereux!?)
