Museum presenting objects of archaeological excavations, religious artworks, tracing the history of the imperial city
The historical museum of Kaysersberg is a museum which presents collections to be discovered. Open in summer and during events such as Heritage Days, it presents objects from archaeological excavations, exceptional works of religious art including an opening Virgin from 1380, sculptures and unusual objects that retrace the history of the imperial town of Kaysersberg.
Installed since 1972 on the first floor of a house whose architecture is in itself worth the detour, the museum, run by volunteers, offers free or guided tours. To visit this hidden gem, it is preferable to make reservations at the tourist office of Kaysersberg.Did you know? This review was written by our professional authors.
