MUNICIPAL FACTORY MUSEUM
Museum featuring a water pump dating from 1903, a street lamp from 1896, a generator from 1906...
The Musée des Usines Municipales is a unique place that bears witness to Colmar's industrial heritage. This former water pumping plant, dating from 1884, on the edge of the Neuland forest, showcases the machinery used in the 19th century to improve the comfort of local residents (water, lighting, gas, public transport). These witnesses to man's technical know-how will take you back in time. All tours are guided and must be booked 15 days in advance.
