La Petite Venise is the district of the Maraîchers around the rue Turenne, an area bathed by the Lauch, a tributary of the Ill. It is one of the most romantic places in old Colmar, remarkable for the picturesque alignment of Alsatian houses on both sides of the river. Boat trips are offered in the area. Avec ses maisons typiques, petites rues pavées, c'est le point de passage obligé de la ville. Beaucoup de monde surtout en période estivale. L'on peut se balader sur les canaux et même apercevoir des ragondins auprès des barques.
