Coming from a long market gardening line, Jérôme Meyer is a pioneer in direct sales. This young colmarian market gardener had the good idea to install, in July 2018, a vending machine for fresh vegetables (carrots, potatoes, salads, courgettes, tomatoes, beets, etc.) in front of his property located on rue de la Semm in Colmar. That is 54 traps full of seasonal produce. Air-conditioned, they have been restocked twice a day and are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment is made in cash or by credit card, after which the chosen locker opens automatically. This innovative system was set up in collaboration with the Alsatian company Filbing Distribution.
