Lovely stay among the redwoods. Lori was super helpful and the room was perfect.

We were totally happy with our stay; had a beautiful room, comfy bed, relaxing massage, enjoyed the lawn directly at the river and had tasty tea from the great tea selection.

A nice quiet place, room was huge, loved all the patios and decks. The bartender was fantastic. We didn’t get to try to restaurant as it is not open Sun/Mon but did enjoy the bartender and his drinks!

Lori greeted me and checked me in. She was the best! My whole weekend experience was awesome. Views of the Russian River were beautiful. The food and drinks were great! Definitely would book here again! 10 stars!

This hotel had everything we needed for a stay in wine country. We loved that it was right on the river with beautiful views. The bar was lovely and they had very nice food at the restaurant. The only knock I would say was the food service was really slow.

I really wanted to book this place from the photos, but previous bad reviews were preventing me from doing it. I looked and looked but something kept bringing me back to it. I finally decided to call and ask a bunch of questions to “set my expectations” and I’m so glad I did. After speaking to Lori for just a few minutes I knew this was where we were supposed to stay. We booked room D and could not have been happier with the view. It felt like we were on a river boat every time we looked out the windows. Dinner at the cozy bar and restaurant by the fire place was perfect as well. The speak easy is not back up and running yet, but you can get a drink in the bar and bring it down there and listen to the piano player on Friday nights. We can’t wait to go back when the weather is nicer and take advantage of the beautiful decks, fire pits and kayaks. The only negative things I read that were true for us was that the bathroom was really small, but we weren’t going to hang out in the bathroom and it severed its purpose. The hot tub was also out of service, but Lori had told me about that and the speak easy when I called. Our room was so spacious and clean and we couldn’t get enough of the view. We will be back for sure and could not have had a better trip!

A warm charming place on the Russian River ad mists the Redwood trees. Fresh clean air and to top it up the hospitality. Friendly and very helpful staff - I was so pleased to have met Lori, Chris, Melissa, Lauren, Daniel to just name a few names. Great staff- friendly, helpful and I felt right at home. Cannot wait to go back. Beautiful, serene place, clean and thoughtful rooms ( water/ coffee chocolate bars)
Reception area has all different types of fresh tea leaves. A delight to be here

I just had a wonderful stay at the Boho. Honestly, I understand that visiting in the off season likely result in less availability of amenities and a reduced staff. You have to expect the off season on the River is dead and businesses are typically just hanging on. It’s very feast and famine in West Sonoma County. That being said, my stay was wonderful! Beautiful room, very quiet and relaxing, and the price was very reasonable. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. 15 minutes from the coast and five minutes to Guerneville which has a good number of bars and some really good restaurants. I recommend Pats for Breakfast, the Guerneville taco truck for lunch and Main Street Station for live music and amazing food. The calamari was great and my Shiitake Raviolis with the pesto cream sauce was OMG! So good! The Pizzas are also amazing and they have a creative pizza menu. Boho. 5/5!

AWFUL!! Few cheap fixtures, beds & bright wallpaper make it look great in pics but don’t be fooled. It is old, dirty, thin walls, & nothing like the photographs online. Jacuzzi empty, no dock, no idea where the “spa” was & overall very grungy. They had 2 people working the front desk, restaurant, bar & busing tables. They completely screwed up on our friends reservation (online pic again deceptive ) so luckily we were able to cancel 2nd night & leave. Reuben & Laurie were very nice & helpful but the place itself needs a good clean!! See pics!

Everything was great ???? beautiful. Rooms smaller than the pictures portray. Bathrooms extremely small. Overall cute and bohemian style. I definitely would like to come back in the summer in order to enjoy everything they have to offer.

We visited here in February. The room that we were initially given was missing curtains on the windows as well as the balcony door (and mind you our room was facing the street and the garden). We had to ask to move to a different room in the cold rainy night. For the $260-$300 that they charge per night, they should do better.

We walked in at random for drinks and ended up staying! Lori was an incredible host along with a great staff who accommodated us at the last minute. We will be back!

Had a similar experience to others. Booked this hotel for my wife’s birthday. Booked it because of the amenities… hot tub, fire pits. When we arrived the hot tub had no water there were no fire pits set up. So after dinner there’s really nothing to but go sit in your room. Very disappointed would not recommend. Also as others have stated very thin walls we were on the bottom floor and could hear every step above us.

We had a great time and look forward to returning this summer!

The rooms were amazing. So beautiful. There was never someone at the desk to help us. We always had to text and wait for a response. Also they had no breakfast service aside from mini bagels we could toast but I’m GF. But tons of activities we could do which were fun. The WiFi wasn’t great either.

Rooms are small and in an older building with thin walls. Shower with nice hot water. Communal fire pit which was the highlight. Bar and restaurant within the hotel is nice and convenient after being out and about all day.

The site is beautiful and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. I was very disappointed, though, that the hot tub was not working as I had especially been looking forward to using it.

Charming stylish boutique hotel, right on Russian River. 15 minute drive to Pacific ocean. Lori (manager) & Chris (bartender) helped make sure we had everything we needed. We will be going back, for sure. Highly recommend.

Extremely Misleading Website!
We booked this place because of the hot tub on the river, the live jazz on Saturday nights, and the speakeasy.
We arrived to find that the hot tub was closed for the entire season, there was no live jazz, and the speakeasy was closed for the season (??).
The rooms are nice enough, but we would certainly not have spent $400+ to stay here if we'd known that the owner was not being truthful about access to amenities (I mean, I selected our room because it said "hot tub access").

Grand merci au chef de ce resto à Monte Rio. La cuisine y est succulente.
Room C specifically was cute on the surface but the toilet kept over flowing. When calling the office for help, they took the information but no one called us back or came with a plunger. Had to use the toilet bad to poop. Ended up finding the code to the main office to use the main offices bathroom.
The heater in the room, blast very hot, room heats fast and overly hot in my opinion, then it shuts off automatically because it's on a timer and yoy manually have to get back up to turn it on when the room gets cold again, which is about 30 minutes after it shuts off.
The bed was tiny for two bigger sized people. White pillow was found to have someone elses blood on it when i woke up in the morning. Had my husband inspect my body, no evidence it was from me to be found. The shower was very small too. Ultimately did not get much good sleep here and woke up sore.
