CORREO CENTRAL
Since 1913, the central station has been located in a magnificent building in the late th century called Casa Patri, the name of a wealthy Italian merchant who participated in the rehabilitation of rail transport in Paraguay, after its destruction during the Triple Alliance war. In the inner courtyard, a bust of Marshal López, which established the first Latin American telegraph in 1864. A small philatelic museum is also in the building. Part of the services were moved to the corner of Yegros and 25 Mayo streets.
