GALERÍA ROSA BRÍTEZ

Rosa Brítez (1941-2017), La Ceramista de América, has exhibited worldwide. His ceramics, with their characteristic black colour (fired with tatakuá and smoked with guayaiví leaves), evoke mythological beings, the sun, the moon, or human figures, the groseritos. Her famous Kama-sutra series, was not too much to the taste of the Church... It is considered the very abnegation of the Paraguayan woman who, after many sacrifices, was able to educate her 13 children, many of whom perpetuate the tradition.
