EL CÁNTARO

El Cántaro is a foundation set up by Rosa aka "Joe", a Francophile, to promote popular, indigenous and contemporary art. The pieces on display in the gallery are the work of local craftsmen and artists. Sales help finance BioEscuela Popular, which offers workshops to over 300 children, teenagers and adults from the community, with the aim of social transformation through art and culture. The foundation offers workshops (sculpture, ceramics, painting, or bioconstructions) and occasional shows.
