In a 19th century house, this historical museum was created by a veteran of the Chaco War. It is dedicated to this conflict of course, but also to the Triple Alliance War, during which Piribebuy, the "Ciudad Heroica", was the victim of a terrible battle on August 12, 1869. Its name pays homage to the commander of this battle. Miguel Ángel Romero, the director of the museum and renowned santero (sculptor of saints), can also take you on a tour of the nearby Franciscan church.
