This small train museum takes its name from the president who launched rail transport in Paraguay in the mid-19th century. On display are old locos, impressive machines and tools (most in working order), photos from the late 19th century... We found this well-maintained museum more interesting than the one in Asunción. The guide who usually works here worked in the workshops for 34 years, until they closed in 2000.
