SAPUCÁI FOUNDATION
Go there and contact
It was in this small town in the department of Paraguarí, 90 km from the capital, that Paraguayan trains were built and repaired from 1887 onwards. Today it is a cemetery of old wagons and locomotives overgrown with grass... Every year, on July 15 and 16, they celebrate the patron saint and the anniversary of the foundation of Sapucái. On this occasion, in addition to the traditional celebrations (masses, gastronomic buffets, artistic presentations, rodeos, etc.), old railway machinery is put back into service.
