A stone's throw from the museum, in an old house facing the park, is a grocery-bar with high ceilings where you can enjoy empanadas or ice creams, and refresh yourself with a licuado (natural fruit juice mixed with milk). The place is run by professor Doña Cayetana Maidana and her husband, who is none other than a proud descendant of Aimé Bonpland. You'll probably find this charming couple sitting in their sillas cables in front of the house, sharing a tereré. Doña Cayetana will be happy to advise you on practical village matters.
