Facing the square, in a beautifully restored " casa de indios ", the museum contains some 50 polychrome sculptures in six themed rooms. Among them are statues by maestro Giuseppe Brassanelli, who introduced modern sculpture at the end of the 17th century, with less symmetrical, more expressive features and softer, more realistic forms. The museum is considered one of the country's richest in this field.
