A documentation and archive center on the victims of repression during Alfredo Stroessner's dictatorship (1954-1989). It presents the testimonies of the many victims in this department, which was the birthplace of the Christian Agrarian Leagues, a community-based peasant resistance movement. The center has been open since 2003, the year in which the "Justice and Truth" commission was set up, providing a wealth of information on the role played by the various players in the dark years. Most of the people who welcome you are former victims.
