This Jesuit chapel preserves the only colonial frescoes in Paraguay. The colors have remained almost intact, thanks to thick walls that provide a good barrier against humidity. On the left, the Last Judgment, on the right, Joseph's carpenter's workshop. In the middle, Mary's house, moved from Nazareth to Loreto (by angels...). Among the most remarkable polychrome sculptures are those of Mary and Gabriel at the Annunciation, by Maestro Brassanelli.
