A traditional fiesta that highlights rodeos, equestrian dressage and regional gastronomy, with the typical asado a la estaca.
Organized by the Club de Leones de Santiago, this popular festival in the south of the country attracts thousands of visitors over three days, not only from Paraguay, but also from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Parades, spectacular equestrian demonstrations(jineteadas), training of young horses(doma), bullfights (without killing the bull), folk music and dances... And of course, the traditional asados a la estaca are on the menu!
