Facing the main square, this museum of religious art is housed in a colonial-style house built on the site of the former church, demolished in 1907 (a few ruins remain nearby). It has several themed rooms, featuring some sixty polychrome sculptures of various sizes, in cedar and lapacho wood. This is the only museum in the region with paintings on wood panels. Their vivid colors have been well preserved.
