Selecta has been producing yerba mate since the 1940s. The factory opens its doors to visitors so that they can discover the production cycle, from the nursery to packaging, drying and barbacoá. Come in the morning instead, otherwise you might not see the workers at work. Selecta has a nature reserve of 173 ha, 2 km from the yerbatera. We go there with a guide, through fields of yerba mate trees. The trail in the forest is 5 km long, but can be shortened. A very interesting visit.
