PARQUE PIKYPÓ

The Pikypó Park, 32 ha, 18 of which are natural area and a 2 ha lake, is located at the exit of the town, in the direction of Asunción. It is appreciated by the inhabitants of Yguazú, who like to come and walk there with their families and prepare an asado under a quincho or play cricket! Of particular interest to the traveller is the Centro de Interpretación del Circuito Vivencial "Mundo Guaraní", which is both a tourist information centre (hotels, restaurants, activities in the area) and a museum about the Guaraní populations in the surrounding area and the history of the former Japanese colony.
