This small museum located in the centre of the urban area, opposite the central square, tells the story of the Japanese settlers who arrived in the early 1960s to found the Yguazú colony. Some arrived from Japan, others came from La Colmena (Paraguarí), the cradle of Japanese immigration to Paraguay. Photographs, tools, agricultural machinery, handicrafts and everyday objects (Japanese typewriters, cameras, etc.), donated by the immigrants or their descendants, take us back to the time of the colony.
