CENTRO DE VISTANTES
The Mbaracayú Forest Nature Reserve is a protected area in Paraguay. It covers an area of 644.1 km² and was created in 1991. The reserve is home to great biological diversity, with valuable flora and fauna, as well as various natural communities. Several species of wildlife can be found here, including the jaguar, tapir, anteater bear, tamandua and the region's emblematic bird, the guyrá campana. The indigenous Aché people have the right to collect and hunt in the reserve with their traditional weapons, in accordance with the law. The reserve is managed by the Moisés Bertoni Foundation and has a visitor center in Jejuí-mí, which provides information on the reserve and the region, as well as suggestions for activities such as hiking trails, viewpoints, viewpoints and waterfalls.
