This osteria is one of the oldest cantinas in Frascati, if not the oldest. You'll find good white wine from the region here: on entering, you'll be asked whether you'd like to drink a liter or a half-liter. While it used to be possible to bring your own bread and cold meats to enjoy with your glass, the house now offers boards of cheese, ham and other small hot or cold dishes ( fagotto) . All of which can be enjoyed with a glass of the fine amber wine for which Frascati is famous.

Molto bello il soffitto fatto di antiche botti e gli altri interessanti elementi di arredo ereditati dalla Frascati di una volta.
La proposta gastronomica è il fagotto, un insieme di piatti, taglieri e pietanze calde e fredde secondo la fantasia del giorno, portati in tavola in una tovaglia infagottata.
Mi è piaciuto per i prodotti tipici e per l'atmosfera che porta indietro nel tempo. I prezzi di questo caratteristico posto sono rimasti anch'essi indietro, mi pare.
