This Franciscan monastery was founded in 1480, then renovated in the first half of the 16th century in late Gothic and Renaissance style. The monks have always cultivated olive groves. They learned the traditional art of olive oil production. During your visit, you'll take your time in the cloister, garden and church, as well as in the communal rooms, where objects of monastic daily life, assembled over centuries, are on display.
