One of the best addresses in the Bocage Ornais region. On the plate: a meticulous presentation that invites you to travel; on the palate: an explosion of flavors. Chef Xavier Cesbron and his wife have been at the helm of this fine establishment for over 30 years. The savory and gourmet menus for meat, fish and game lovers, as well as the vegetarian menu, honor local producers. Creativity, freshness, refinement, service: it's a no-brainer! Tip: reserve in the terrace dining room.

Soirée très très agréable : décor raffiné, personnel souriant et cuisine excellente.
Nous avons pris notre repas dans la salle semi-ouverte suivi d'une boisson chaude dans le salon en terrasse.
Un enfant a dégusté le menu "Jeune convive". Effrayé au début par l'absence de nuggets ou hamburger, il a bien aimé manger des crevettes et du saumon fumé en entrée, et surtout a adoré sa petite pièce de boeuf avec des frites en plat principal!
Nous nous sommes tous régalés. Merci.

Restaurant qui vaut largement le détour. Je recommande fortement. Plats d'une qualité exceptionnelle et service irréprochable.

Un restaurant qui n'a pas son pareille dans le secteur, tout est parfait autant dans les plats, que dans l'ambiance tout le monde est très chaleureux et à vos petits soins. Allez y les yeux fermés et surtout penser à réserver car très prisé.

Tout simplement fabuleux. Obviously, such excellent quality does not come cheap. Excluding a delicous very soft white Beaune (Saint Romain), we payed about 50 euro per person for a 3-course lunch. Regardless, price/quality-wise I highly recommend this Chef’s extraordinary magic.

Also, most friendly and helpful staff, at least some of whom -I would even guess most- speak English.

One minor issue: even though the restaurant has a porch/terrace (well-shielded from the wind and facing a small garden), the huge glass doors opening out to its fresh air were kept closed, so we felt it got just too warm inside (with apparently no airco in operation, though I’d assume there is one). Then again, it was indeed unusually warm for mid-october (~25C), so staff may have been kind-of-misled by the season. (Plus, of course, opinions on outside temperatures may vary…)
