The virtues of the therapeutic waters were already known by the Romans and the local population. In the 19th century, the bishop of Zagreb, Maksimilijan Vrhovac, created the first spa in the region. Renovated, it develops a contemporary concept of the cure (health, well-being). An address recommended especially for its design thermal equipment because the rooms are small. Near a river, green spaces, large indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool (between 31 and 34 °C). The sportsmen of the Croatian representation come here for fitness treatments.

Ljetovala sam u Rovinju i na Visu koji slove kao skupa mjesta, no prosječna cijena kave s mlijekom je ipak oko 2 eura. Samo ispred hotela s 5 zvijezdica ili u boljim restoranima cijena je viša, 3 eura ili više.
Jučer sam doživjela neugodne iznenađenje kad sam videla nove cijene u našim, budimo realni, ofucanim Stubakima. Cappucino 2,30, a Nescafe cappuccino 3,10 (1 vrećica u maloprodaji cca 0,50, u veleprodaji sigurno znatno manje-dakle minimalno 6x skuplje nego u nabavi!), sokovi po 3 eura, cijena prosječnog ručka skočila 30-ak posto?! Vi ste bome zamislili da ste neka ekskluzivna destinacija!
