Island with only two beaches accessible by land at San Domino
The island has only two beaches accessible by land, where sun loungers with umbrellas are to be reserved in advance in season. Scuba diving enthusiasts will go to Punta di Ponente to admire the wreck of a Roman ship on the seabed. The rocky coast of the island also conceals many caves, which can be discovered during a boat trip: the Grotta del Coccodrillo, the Grotta del Bue Marino, 70 metres long, the Grotta delle Rondinelle, the Grotta delle Viole, which owes its name to the purplish colouring of its seaweed.
