MAHTRA AGRICULTURAL MUSEUM (RAPLAMAA MUUSEUMID)
Museum partially dedicated to the revolt of the region's peasants against tsarist rule, with an exhibition.
The museum is partly devoted to the revolt of the peasants of the region against the tsarist power in the 19th century.
The exhibition also gives an overview of the Mahtra War of 1858, the battlefield of which is about 4.5 km from the museum. The Atla-Eeru tavern is also part of the museum. It is an old peasant house or barn built in 1811, the only preserved peasant tavern in Estonia. Guided tours are available.
