Church on a promontory overlooking the sea with a nave and side chapels.
The small, pristine white church, which stands on a promontory overlooking the sea, is certainly the most emblematic sight in Forio. Founded in the 14th century, it was part of the Augustinian convent, which was abolished in 1653. It is preceded by two staircases decorated with majolica. The interior, with a nave and side chapels, contains a 15th century wooden crucifix which, according to legend, was found at sea by sailors.
