Church with interior decoration of tardo-baroque style with dome covered with majolica tiles
The parish church of Cetara is dedicated to the patron saint of the town, the Apostle Peter, who was also a fisherman. The building, whose origins date back to the 10th century, was built in the Romanesque style, but was transformed over time, especially in the 18th century, when it was given a neoclassical façade and interior decoration in the Tardo-Baroque style. Note the beautiful dome covered with majolica tiles, on which the sun's reflections play.
