It's the "club" of the once-powerful Société Minière de Bakwanga (MIBA), which has left its mark on the town. As in Katanga with Gécamines, time has taken its toll on this once luxurious club and some of its sports facilities (abandoned swimming pool...). But it's still a place to relax and get out on the town, where you can have a drink and sit down to a meal of fish or mayo chicken, in an airy, peaceful setting. The small children's playground should be rehabilitated.
