VILLA BONET
Typical late Art Nouveau villa, emblematic of Salou's architectural heritage, designed by Domènec Sugranyes i Gras
The architect Domènec Sugranyes i Gras, a disciple and partner of Gaudí, designed and built this sumptuous villa - the Xalet Bonet - in 1918 on a commission from Ciriac Bonet. Typical of late Art Nouveau and emblematic of Salou's architectural heritage, the ornaments on the main façade are noteworthy, with a sundial surrounded by ceramic fish and Gothic calligraphy that says: "Enjoy the time that passes and does not return". Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit the interior.
