Place where the authorities of Salou decided to erect the Monument to the Fisherman, work of Ramon Ferran
At the Espigó del moll is the place where fishing boats used to moor: until the middle of the last century, the breakwater and the pier (built in the 19th century as part of a larger canal project that was never built) protected the boats. It was here that the Salou authorities decided to erect the Fisherman's Monument, designed by Ramon Ferran, in 1990 as a tribute to the town's maritime past.

Grande et belle jeté qui jouxte la mer , la balade est très agréable et paisible , on peut admirer l'imposante colonne dédiée aux marins (voir photos)
