This tavern (Ταβέρνα του Ζιώγα/Taverna tou Zioga) is renowned for its good grilled meats accompanied by home-made French fries: pork chop, lamb chop, veal liver, sausage, kondosouvli (large skewer of marinated pork pieces), chicken fillet or skewer, minced meat balls. The no-fuss menu also includes soups, salads, mezzés, desserts and house wine. Service can sometimes be a little slow, but the terrace offers beautiful views of the Meteora. Overnight accommodation is available (Hotel Kastraki, 27 rooms).

Το φαγητό καλό αν και οι μερίδες μικρές. Οι τιμές πολύ υψηλές, υπερβολική υψηλές.

It was the only working restaurant around on a Sunday night in February, so we went. The exterior looked much better than the interior, but at least there was a nice working fireplace. The menu is somewhat limited and portions were not as big as we're used to seeing in Greece, but the meals were good. Nothing fascinating, but ok to have a lunch or dinner. The red house wine was really good, though!!!

Κλασική ταβέρνα της περιοχής, πολύ καλά κρέατα που είναι και το βασικό θέμα του μενού σε ένα τέτοιο μαγαζί. Φιλόξενη και επαγγελματική εξυπηρέτηση, τίμιες τιμές.

Γενικά αν εξαιρέσει κάποιος τον χρόνο αναμονής ( 1 ώρα ) σαν μαγαζί είναι καλούτσικο αν και χρειάζεται βελτίωση
