This is a convenient hotel, with modern, well-designed rooms (sockets by the bed, for example), free parking and a location along the Meteora road, close to the tavernas and shops in the center of Kastraki. Breakfast (optional) is of little interest, but some rooms have a balcony with a view of the rock columns. The hotel is named after Saint Athanasios of Meteora (Agios Athanasios o Meteoritis), founder of the Great Meteor Monastery in the 14th century.
