Rococo basilica housing a highly venerated statue of the Virgin Mary.
It's a jewel in the crown of Innsbruck's religious heritage. As far back as the days of the Roman Empire, people came here to venerate the holy image of the Virgin Mary. Built in 1755 under the supervision of Franz von Paula Penz, an expert in Tyrolean churches, this rococo basilica houses a highly venerated 19th-century statue of the Virgin Mary. Its harmonious proportions and rich interior decoration make it one of the finest examples of Tyrolean Rococo.

Jolie cathédrale colorée un peu excentrée du centre d'Innsbruck mais facilement accessible en transports en commun.
