HELBLINGHAUS (HELBLINGHAUS)
Bourgeois house opposite the Petit Toit d'or, with a facade decorated by Anton Gigl.
Opposite the Little Golden Roof is a 15th-century bourgeois house. Its frescoes date from the first half of the 18th century and the stucco work in the late Baroque style is by artists of the Wessobrunn School. In 1730, the façade was decorated with acanthus leaves, fruit clusters, shells, cherubs, masks, etc. by Anton Gigl. Although the house itself was built in the Middle Ages, its name comes from Sebastian Helbling who set up a café here in the 19th century.
