OTTO TOWER (OTTOBURG)
This Gothic tower houses a restaurant serving typical Tyrolean dishes and national specialties.
This Gothic residential tower was built on the old town fortifications in 1494. It now houses an inn. At the entrance, a monument was erected in 1809 in memory of the Tyrolean freedom fighters. Like many other buildings in Innsbruck's historic centre, the Ottoburg dates back to Emperor Maximilian I. In the building there is a restaurant that serves typical Tyrolean dishes and national specialities according to the season. The halls are magnificent with their ribbed and ribbed vaults.
