Museum building presenting the history of the imperial family and Maximilian.
The emblem of Innsbruck, this house with its superb façade was the first Habsburg residence from 1400. Its "Little Golden Roof" was added by Maximilian I and completed in 1500. It consists of 2,657 gilded copper tiles, which give it its flamboyant appearance. Today, the building houses a museum that presents the history of the imperial family and Maximilian. Kunz von der Rosen, the court jester, takes young and old on a journey through history.
