Museum housing a vast collection of pre-Roman, Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque art.
A comprehensive collection of art from pre-Roman times, Romanesque sculptures, Gothic and Baroque art as well as modern art. Among other things, objects found during archaeological excavations throughout the Tyrol can be seen here. For art lovers, there are beautiful paintings (Lucas Cranach the Elder, Rembrandt van Rijn, Franz Defregger) as well as a collection of stringed instruments made by the famous Tyrolean violin maker Jacob Stainer.
